Walter Müller (1901–1978) [1]
Müller grew up in Wädenswil as one of six children and worked as a lithographer. He gave up his profession and trained as a farmer in order to take over his wife’s parents’ farm with her. Later he became a school caretaker in Wädenswil. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the mountains – he was a member of the Swiss Alpine Club – and went ski touring in winter. He also enjoyed drawing and made three reliefs of his favorite regions: one of the Tschierva glacier, one of Mont Blanc, and one of Wädenswil Castle.
