Gottfried Fankhauser (1870–1962) [1]

Fankhauser came from Trub and was the son of a sawmill operator. He attended the Protestant teachers’ seminary Muristalden in Bern and from 1894 worked at the seminary school in Schiers. From 1900 he devoted himself to the Evangelical Society of the Canton of Bern and wrote various religious-educational publications. From 1921 to 1938 he was director of the Muristalden Seminary.
