Fritz Egger (1916–2002) [1]
Egger was a high school teacher in Basel. However, he did not make the reliefs for teaching, but saw their production as an ideal combination of his love of the mountains – he was an enthusiastic alpinist – and his manual skills. He devoted himself to relief making on a larger scale only after his retirement.
