Stark was born in Stuttgart, studied art in Toronto in 1981/82 and at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin from 1982-1988. She has had a studio in Berlin since 1985. Between 1990 and 1993 she was several times at Peacock Printmakers in Aberdeen (Scotland). As a painter-sculptor she is always present at various exhibitions. She created the artwork “Matterhorn” together with the artist Fred Engelbert Knecht (born 1934).
